Park problems 4.5

My father has an 4. 5 automatic. He has been haveing trouble when he puts it in park it is still in rev. It showes that it is in park but isn't. I know this because I have a bumper to replace on it, and a heck of a repair bill on my neighbors van :--) . Can anyone tell me if there might be a recall or anything on the transmition?

Sounds to me like maybe the linkage is maladjusted. Dealer should be able to adjust it under warranty. Haven't read anything here about recalls on the transmission...
