I recently took a trip to Yellowstone and drove on a lot of salted roads; so I was up under my truck inspecting for buildup of salty dirt. Don't wont my truck to rust out! During this inspection I noticed a bright spot rubbed on the edge of the leaf spring on the drivers side rear wheel. The parking brake cable was laying against the spring. The factory had missed the little J hook
support that is supposed to keep this from happening. I took the top bolt out of the holder and loosened the bottom bolt and was able to put the cable where it was supposed to be. Just thought I would pass this along in case someone else's cable missed the holder also. I have 22000 on my truck now and it was wearing a flat spot through the outer sheath.
