Parking Cable Retainer Clip

I am trying to find the parking brake cable retainer clips that holds the parking brake cable into the parking brake lever. See the pic below.

I tried NAPA and they said they could not get them.

Doesn't that come on the cable? I thought it was put on before the end was crimped on.

1stGen4evr just posted a Mopar part number, I believe. Recently, like this week.



Since you have the hub off, why not just get a new one? Or do like I did on my blue truck, and readjust the parking brake to use just one side?

I ordered (2) of the P/N 1stGen4evr just provided and I will be picking them up from the dealer tomorrow. I will post an update on how they work out.

Thank someone else for bringing that post back to the top. I did that post in 04 I think. I had used a piece of mechanics wire previously.



I found a parts guy at the local Dodge dealer that had a little gumption and desire to do real customer service. He got the number and I ordered a pack.



The small hose clamp works quite well also.

P/N - 04713293 that 1stgen4evr posted is the right critter. They cost $3. 37 apiece. BTW if you want to order some you should do it now, because the person I ordered them from said that once they run out of the ones that are in the parts system they are gone.
