well I have to park the truck for a while. On the way home today from work the TC started slipping badly and the power steering went out. And looking at the prices to fix the said problems I realized I don't have enough money to fix either problem. So it looks like while it is parked I will just tinker with a few things on it that are free to do. If anyone knows where I can get parts to fix these problems real cheap let me know.

well I got some money now just have to fund a torque converter, shift kit, and rebuild kit for around $1,000. 00. can anyone on here tell how Dunrite converters are, and their transbuddy kit???

Throwing money at a torque convertor in a worn trans is like taking out a payday loan with no job.



You can do, but I would not recommend it. You will end up buying 2 TCs. 1 now and another in a few months when the rest of the trans fails.

well i know that. that is why i am also going thru the transmission right now as we speek checking everything out, and rebuilding it.
 
I have been sitting here writting a reply with the whole night mare of my latest trans problems but here it is in a nut shell: i am on my second Dunrite TC, the first one lasted 5 1/2 years and 140k (I had 180k on the factory one) they have a 5 yr wareenty I had to pay full price for the the new one. :{



I feel he was hard to deal with and my truck goes back into the shop Monday for problems with The Transbuddy. :(



I wish I would have gone with Dave Gorend



It is going to be one of those days, I see I am on my sons signiture I have a 94 with an auto coming up on 340K
