Anyone have a part # for the rubber fitting that goes over the check valve of the vacuum pump on one end and has the vacuum line attached on the other side. Dodge dealer couldn't find the part on the computer. 2001 1 ton . Thanks. A picture would also help.

I don't normally frequent Cummins Forum, but doing a search for this elbow I found a thread there that listed a Dorman 47092 1/4" Vacuum Elbow that worked. It looks to be readily available at O'Reilly's for @ $3.00 so if it doesn't work at least you won't be out much.

Excellent choice Barry. I've talked to Pete Gould a number of times over the years and had bought a vacuum rebuild kit from him years ago . Thanks for reminding me of him. I called and he told me Dodge would sell the whole vacuum harness with the fitting but not the fitting itself. Of course for a lot more money. He said it didn't have to be a 90 degree fitting that it could be a piece of hose. That's what I did and for .66 cents I fixed it. I highly recommend Pete Gould. He has always gone out of his way to help when ever I have talked to him. Extremely knowledgable and helpful. Check out his web site. You can reach him on his cell or home number.

Big Papa, thanks for the input. I forgot that I had this issue before and replaced the fitting with one similar from an auto parts store. For whatever reason it cracked and leaked. I'm trying a piece of hose as an adapter and will see how that goes. For those that don't know no vacuum means HVAC, 4 Wheel drive won't work. A pretty simple fix.
