Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) part number needed

Does anybody have the part number for the fuel level sending unit? I don't need the entire unit, just the float level part that breaks. I'm trying to fix my gauge and I need this number. Someone gave it to me and I can't find it anymore.



My truck is a 96' 3500 if it matters.

Are you positive that it's the float? Mine was the metal slot wore in the actual white metal top of the fuel module that allows the lower plastic portion of the fuel module with the fuel pickup to expand / contract with the black plastic tank expansion.



Fuel float rheostat is only about 20 dollars. Fuel modulel is about 225.
