2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Part Number Needed

I need the lower boot for the transfer case/ 4500 shifter. The dealer has ordered the "only" 2 available, one was 2wd 5 speed, the other 4wd automatic

I need the 4wd with 5 speed lower boot if anybody has the part number I'd appreciate it! PS my parts guy is a woman!

5207 7840 w/Automatic Transmission

5207 8125 w/Manual Transmission

3 BOOT, Upper ***

5207 7842 w/Automatic Transmission

5207 8126 w/Manual Transmission

Dan does that make any reference to the transfer case boot? She ordered one but it was for a manual 2wd, didn't have the transfer case boot made on with it.

That IS the transfer case boot. (automatics don't have a floor shifter - so they wouldn't need a boot).



Sounds to me that "She ordered one but it was for a manual 2wd, " was for the 5spd shifter boot, not the transfer case boot.



Compare the part numbers of what you had ordered to see if they match what is in the parts manual of what I just gave you.
