My in law is contemplating parting out a 91' Dodge 3/4 ton with the CTD and auto in it. It was running ok until a worker created a short and it has sat for 6-8months.

Now he is thinking about parting it out, as the body has construction wear, but the drive train worked fine prior to short. Had approx 90,000mi.

He asked what it was worth and I said I'd find out from the TDR board. I have no idea.

Any thoughts ?? He lives out here in Daly City, Ca

Thanks for the help in advance. Ed

Gary, I went to S. f to help him fiddle with it and we found a fuseable link that was fried.

( A half dozen employees had taken the dash apart in search of the problem to no avail)

We fixed the link and it started right up, not a puff of smoke. Runs like a champ. Was sitting in the yard for almost a year, not the 6-8 months thought.

He is still interested in selling it. It would be more of a drivetrain type thing, as the body has taken a beating.

Or if a person needs a good work truck with the CTD( not intercooled).

No idea of price ranges (is it and early or late '91 - the late '91's had an intercooler) - but might be interested in drivetrain pieces - perhaps entire engine/transmission, or possibly at least injector pump, turbo and transmission?

Keep me in mind, I'm close to Daly City, in Vacaville...
