Not that it really matters... just an update. I've had 2 broke CTDs and recently got one up and running and now have ordered the clutch and transmission for the other. Yeah!!!
Sure planned on converting over to the NV 5600, but there is not a shop within a 150 mile radius that can do it. So I've had to resign myself to sticking with the NV4500.
Peter at South Bend Clutch gave me a good price on the new clutch to replace the broke SBC and I ordered the transmission from Blumenthals (2nd one in 3 weeks).
Thanks to all of you for answering my questions and ummm putting up with my frustration.
I can hardly wait to hear the sweet sound of that diesel and to see the smoke in my rear view mirror (ooops would I do that?).
