Has anyone purchased any parts from Dodge Parts - DodgeTruckParts.net

I found this surfing trying to find parts to fix the underneath front end from the accident i had with the 92'.

They even have the links for the stabilizer bar which none of the parts places can even get, thoughts on this site, not sure about prices either, let me know if someone has another place to get these at. Im going to try and get the parts together myself(in btween Dr. visits) while the guy that has my truck gets caught up, there are 2 in front of mine.

Thanks

I seem to be having issues with these sites either that or my brain isn't computing how to navigate the internet anymore(might be a good thing) I was wondering if anyone knew of the year models Ramchargers etc that the front adjustment bar with the tie rods would interchange with my 92', im tired of looking. Im going to get moog tie rods, some of these sites im getting confused on which part is which(hopefully that will pass with more time).
Im also going to change out the Gear box as the impact from the accident shot the steering linkage(borgeson shaft) right off the splines, don't ask me how it did it, it just did, also replacing the frame piece also. I can get a draglink(centerlink? part that connects to pitman arm from gearbox) from Oreilly's
Thanks again

Grey thanks. . i had not even thought about Geno's, will be glad when all my marbles get back in order... actually dad chauffeured me today as i had to fax more papers, i was able to get some leads on at least one truck for parts and actually had forgotten about another that well probably isn't 6miles from me LOL, got a call into a friend of mine on that one...

Thanks guys

Dana 60?

Hey Greywolf, was wondering if you or any others might know, the front axle i have im guessing dana 60? mine has same gear ratio as your 3:54's

stabalizer links(need or not?)

I have in the past seen several of these trucks without the stabalizer bar or the links(i know why), im a firm believer in the fact that if it was put there it was there for a reason, i would think without this, that might lead to some of the ol' Death wobble issue? am i correct? My Bar is fine, links need replaced course lft side broken from accident, Rht side somewhat bent from typical use so replace it while its being done.

adjust tube

I am trying to find this part, thinking it might be easier to have it made, i think i have read or been told that one side has course threads and the other has fine threads *hence the difference in tie rod prices* what could one make this out of? Any ideas

I also hope there isn't anything wrong with the axle, from my observation i don't think there is, doesn't seem to be bent or anything, i believe the main impact was on the front left tire, what are the odds it hit just right to not mess anything up(prob. a million to one) but chance im going to take.

I had one made at a local rod and custom shop. Any place that does 4-link setups can build a bar for you. Some places sell the threded inserts online. One is left handed threads.

The one I had made had 7/8 thread inserts. I don't remember the pitch. Take the ends to the shop and they can get the right inserts. IIRC my total length with tie rods was 55" from the center of the tie rod to the other side, resulting in about 52" for the bar.

Hope this helps.

Thanks J

I was thinking about that today while i was sitting here(prison in my own house), i have not been able to get out and scrounge the junkyards yet(raining now anyways) hope to soon. As for the bar what was used? I have several pple that can probably make this, threading and all, im guessing i need to take old bar and go ahead and get the tie rods that way we know what we are looking at as far as threads and lft or rht. . am i correct to say one has course and one is fine threaded or did i dream that one...

Thanks again

steering linkage?

Hey guys, i can't sleep, my head is acting up again, splitting headache, took meds hope it kicks in, while im up thought i would ask a important?

The bar that runs east and west under the front with tie rods one each end that go in the knuckles is that not called an Adjuster Tube thats what im having trouble finding, i got good info on how to build one from another member but with the issues im having i can't think correctly and i just end up giving myself another headache when i try, found some online parts suppliers that have this tube.

Dodge Parts - Make It OEM Factory Replacement im going to check with them on monday, the site looks legit and the part is under steering gear and components, one for my truck is $152. 00 4x4 W/ 4500lb axle front.

Thanks

Hey, I just picked up a pretty beat 91 ctd to temporarily replace the 01 I wrecked. I hope you're healing well. I still have headaches but I am ready to go back to work.

Working hard at keeping the rubber side down!

Hey Kevin

Im glad to hear your back to work, yeah these headaches are ones' i have never experienced in my life, different thats for sure. Im taking it one day at a time, yesterday was rough, ended up napping 2 times during the day in order to keep the headaches somewhat at bay, wished i could at least drive, still not very steady on my feet, better to stay grounded when your body is telling you driving might not be a good idea.

Im glad i at least have my computer and i fight headaches being on it at times, Good to hear you found a replacement, I may have found someone that has that adjuster tube for the front.

Part#4031960 if someone has a book could tell me if its the right part.

I again am very thankful that im alive and one day at a time, i was told there is no set time as to when things for me will heal other than its going to take time and not sure what time frame were looking at either...

I agree keep the rubber side down!! :-laf

WE, If you go to www.1sgen.org and check with Mark Nixon he may have the sway bar links you need. He has a lot of parts, he buys and sells trucks and parts regularly. I think he's on CF and some of the other sites too.

Hope you're feeling better.
