Ok, I'm going to pick the truck up tomorrow. From what I've read here, I need to fix the KDP. I'd like to do this before I start driving the truck to work. Where do I get the gaskets/seals needed to reinstall the front cover? Auto parts store? Or do I need to find a Cummins shop? I can fabricate the tab myself. Do I need a longer bolt? I'm also going to check/loctite the bolts inside while I'm in there.
Is there any way to positively identify injectors? They've been replaced, the PO said something about '250HP marine injectors', me being new to this, I'm not sure exactly what this means. The 16cm turbo housing was self-explanatory. There's a K&N air filter stuck on the turbo inlet - right on there, no duct/hose. Should I change this to a different setup?
So many questions, and I haven't even picked the truck up yet.

The gaskets can be bought at any truck repair that is a authorized Cummins dealer , usually they have better prices than an actual Cummins shop. When you go take your engine S/N it is on a tag located on the front cover near the injector pump. Not sure if you need a longer bolt, if the sheet stock you use is around 12- 14 gage I wouldn't think so. The injectors might have a P/N & Mfg. name that can be seen on the upper exposed part of the injector, someone may be able to translate that to what type they are. The K&N you might want to watch and make sure oil isn't coating the pinwheel on the turbo, it really is what you're comfortable with.

Locate a truck dealer or an ag. dealer/construction equipment dealership. Many places use the Cummins engine. Many even employ the "B" engine! They will obtain the crank seal and cover gasket. You can simply stake the pin in place and or fab you'r own "tab"

First, I'd check out the inside of the air intake hose and see if the K&N is doing its job. If so, leave it where it is. If not, get a BHAF or aFe Progard 7. See if the p. o. has the stock filter box. If not, find one. You need something to deflect the hot air off the fan away from the air inlet, and let cooler outside air in. You may have to fab something up to make it work if you cant get an air filter box.

KDP- you can get the seal kit from a parts store, Cummins, or a CaseIH dealer. Prices are all within $10 of each other, normally, though Cummins and Case carry Cummins parts; parts stores, not always. You should get a front seal (Teflon- install DRY) and timing cover gasket in the kit.

Injectors- You can pull an injector and see what is stamped on the body and/or tip. THe stock injectors for your 92 had 6 holes, evenly spaced, offest from center of the injector to center the spray over the bowl of the piston when installed at the angle they sit at. You will need a new copper sealing washer to put it back in; make sure it is the same thickness as the one that is one it- there are about 3 thicknesses of washers, and you want them to all be the same.

Air intake hose

There's no air intake hose. The filter is stuck right on the inlet of the turbo. Time to go to the junk yard and find some parts? The PO doesn't have the original air intake.

Yeah, I'd say it's ime to go to a junkyard and find soem parts, IF you can find them. I have a devil of a time finding one for mine when I switched to a HX35 with the 4" inlet. Ended up buying one from one of the online dealers for 30% off retail; still a rip, though.

You can also use a 2nd gen hose and airbox. I know where one is, if you're interested. Could probably get it cheap. I'm debating taking the intercooler off (front corner hit/ rollover) and seeing if it will hold pressure... ... Needs new tabs, though, and it has a bow to it.....
