Looking to purchase the front hub bearing(s) for the wife's 2000. Quad 4x4 is mentioned quite often, and Rock Auto follows along. Any preference, or why one over the other? Thanks!

I've been doing the same search for my '02. Napa SKF sets are running $350/ea. for the set that is ABS compatible around here. Honestly haven't checked Quad4x4 or some others, but did happen on a SET from Detroit Axle on Ebay for $162 - including shipping. I called them to see if I could find out the manufacturer, and they said it varies, and they are imported directly from China. I'm probably going to do it because I'm getting ready to do ball joints, etc. and feel like there is a pretty good chance I'm going to trash the hubs that are on the truck during removal. I don't drive more any further than a 2 hour radius from the house, so if they fail quickly I'm out the time to replace them again. The other reason I'll bite on cheap China (which I normally wouldn't do) is because it's taking me a lot longer to source the ford hubs/spindles to get rid of the unit bearing/hub altogether.
