pass side 2010 laramie mirror - no go up / down

i posted a few weeks ago about the pass side amber turn signal on the pass mirror not working. got good advice about letting the dealer cover it under warranty. today the pass side motorized mirror stopped moving up / down in reverse - i have it set that way & when i choose the right side mirror control on the door switch, i get left and right, but no up down? could these be related? no damage to the mirror from contact. just 2 issues on the same side? any thoughts? like to get it working before the next oil change / dealer visit. thanks!!!
