Just got back from a trip up north where we were mudracing.

Have to love those POD's and 91 DTT trany when passing everything in sight. Even the fuel stations. Bill doesn't claim increased milelage at highway speeds but i can't see the POD's giving more miles per gallon, just power per gal.

As i have driven this route so many times since i bought my truck in 93, i have to say, best mileage to date with this setup hands down:) 528 miles with a heavy foot & averaging 70 mph.

If you have traveled the B. C. Canyon route you would know that means you have to be doing 90 mph for along time as it is twisty and very hilly. Very impressed to have this power and milage together.

Passed many powerjoke & duramat alone the way.

Great to get on there butt and wait til they pass and watch their heads turn when you pass them also before they had a chance to turn their turn signal off.

Most fun i'd had in 10 hours in along time. :D :D:

nascar mark,

I always get a chuckle out of those guys that go flying by me on the level stretches or when going down hill, because I know when we come to the next good hill my CTD will pass them. Last year I was going up the Coquihalla just past Hope when somebody in a half ton Chev passed me. I had my truck on CC at 120 km when the Chev passed me like I was standing still. As you know the hill going up to the Bear Tunnel kind of sneaks up on you, well by the time we got there I was still going 120 km but the Chev was somewhere in the rear view mirror. Thats what I love about my truck give it a hill to climb, put some weight in the box or a trailer to pull and it really performs. :D :D
