Dealer Program the computer for the Air Bag Switch to work.

I would have just pulled the plug and forgot about the laws. Another way of the government not letting people a choice in life.

We have a new '06, part of the deal prior to purchase was that the truck would have the pass. switch installed like the '02 it replaced had.

Got truck, no switch, dealer order switch, but will not program the computer for it saying that DC says not to do it for liability reasons.

I'm thinking this is BS , I think dealer has discouvered that they must also replace the center bezel on the dash in order for the switch to fit properly.

Am I correct in thinking that for the switch to fit properly the center bezel must be replaced?
