My passenger seat lumbar support is not holding air. The truck is just a year old. How does the switch let the air out of the support? Do they use a solenoid valve or is it incorporated into the switch? Have any of you guys had to work on these? How easy is it to take the seat back apart to check? Still under warranty but I don't want some dealer wizard tearing into it if I can fix it . Any suggestions or help much appreciated!!!! Chris

There is no air on the seats. The lumbar uses a lever which moves forward and back. The seats are servicable only one way. You have to buy a complete seat assembly. It is covered under warranty if your trucks new enough

lumbar support

the switch is a "micro switch". check the switch--you should hear or feel a click to either increase or decrease support. mine had a bad switch on the passenger side from the git go. prob still under guarantee for you??
