Passenger Seat Rattle

2018 3500 DRW Laramie. My passenger seat rattles whenever going over bumps or rough roads. Took it in to the dealer a couple of months ago, they said normal nothing we can do. But it's getting worse! What can be causing this?

I've heard a squeak before from that seat...never a rattle

My 2014 had this.....my 2016 has this..........try moving it forward or back to different spots, mine seems to rattle less depending where it is adjusted to......

My 17 does as well, make sure it isn't the pass side seat belt buckle bouncing/vibrating on the b pillar or the the jack, funnel etc under the pass side seat is tightened down good

I will have to give this a try. I just hate any rattles, squeaks, or other noises that aren't supposed to be there.

2nd the Jack or other tools. It's kinda tricky to get them locked in.

I've found the rattle to be something in the tool kit under the seat. If I move things around I can get it to stop until my wife drops something under the seat and goes searching for it.

I'm going pull all of the junk under the seat out and see if I still hear a rattle. That seat sure does shake around a lot when no one is sitting in it.
