missing on the SLT and up. Has anyone checked or done a conversion to the ST door handle and lock? Can it even be done (need to have a service manual checked) as the SO noticed this as a big NONO. Only one keyhole for the SLT/Larmie's. . yes I realize that they are remote controlled but... if it can be done - why not convert the passenger side to a ST door handle and hardware for the lock? Then have the tumbler re-keyed to match the drivers door. If you only need to unlock the pass side (and if there are BAD persons around) why unlock all the doors?

Another DC "unsafe" deletion... (along with the hood lite, vanity lite, and etc's)...

Ben,

I never knew it wasn't there until I read your post! I can't say that I miss it or the hood light or vanity light for that matter. I have never, ever used that lock and I suspect that many others don't use it either or we would have heard about it on the Forum. I still can't believe that I never noticed it. I must be getting old. Thanks for pointing it out though, I might have gone to use it and think DC screwed me or someone stole it;) . Even worse I might have tried to use the key at night and scratched the paint job pretty badly looking for the hole:rolleyes: .

i think that is pretty much standard on most cars/trucks w/keyless now... i know it's not just the dodge... i saw it somewhere else as well.

Thanks

And that does answer me ques. I would guess, to please the SO the parts wouuld be avail to "replace" it. Cost won't be a factor to do it, Should only take a handle and the hardware internal to the lock rods. To us its just another cost savings on the part of DC.

It would be nice if DC would make the dual temp avail on other than the Laramie (like they do on the Dakota). And a few other things thatIi miss: the sway bar for rear, etc. . HOHUM, just some xtras that need to be planned for.
