Passenger Side Mirror

Hey All,
For the last 5 years or so, my up/down adjustment on my passenger side mirror has not worked. In/out still works fine. Is there a “trick” to removing the glass to see if there is a connector broken or is it better to just get a new assembly? Mirrors are heated and manually folded tow mirrors.

I did a search on mirrors and found 1 thread, but it was not applicable. Perhaps there are others I did not see?

If new assembly is the way to go, I would appreciate suggestions on where to buy.

That's a great link! I replaced my tow mirrors a couple years back because they were not responding to the switch control. This may be the answer to fixing them. The new non-Mopar ones do have turn indictors built in, which I like, so ???

1AAUTO has decent quality aftermarket mirrors.

I should have checked this earlier run a search on Google. I have replaced a total of at least 5 external mirrors. The first to got wiped out when my Lab knocked the truck out of gear as she was getting out and truck wiped off both mirrors rolling backwards. The rest were my fault - the first was too - my current Lab is tethered in the back seat. I found cheaper and functional options for the last two, but I had to replace one because of problems with the motor in the mirror. I found a mirror that works for a little over $70.00, but it could have been less had I seen this. All of the others pretty much got destroyed. I love my truck. I have had it since new, but it has one major problem, it keeps backing into stuff.

I bought a set of 1Aauto replacements and they work well and are good quality. I got tired of manually adjusting my mirrors!
