There are 3 motors to run the power seat.

One raised the front, one raise the back and the 3rd moves the seat front to back.

Well, the moter that raise the front died, so I took it off and went down to my local stealer.

You can't buy just one motor, but the whole power assymbly.

Almost $700. Man are they on drugs or what?

I have the motor off and will look for a place that can rebuild it.

could have been worst... could have been the driver's seat! maybe you could buy the whole seat for less ?

I have the same problem but with the driver seat's rear up/down motor.

Stealer only sells complete rack for close to $800.

I am still looking for someone to rebuild my motor or to buy a replacement motor.

If you find a solution, please give me a shout.

Thanks,

Ihave been looking on the net for used auto parts and searching. If I find something I will let you know.

Geez, guys, I can't believe the price differences between stealers. Something is just not kosher here. I had the rear up/down motor go out and had it replaced about 2 weeks ago. Yup, replaced the whole base. But they quoted me about $450 for the base. If it hadn't been covered by the extended warranty, I'd have been looking at wrecking yards or motor rebuild shops, too.

PM me if you want the stealer's number to do some price comparisons (and hold your local stealer's feet to the fire a bit).
