Why do I have to enter my username and password every time I post? Didn't have to do that before the recent crash.

Goto preferences and "resubmit" them. Your cookies are messed up, has nuthing to due with the recent crash. Just click preferences, and submit (if the right stuff is checked) and you should be good to go.
