Payload / Tow Ratings for various 2010 configurations

Does anyone have this chart. I was looking for it on the Dodge website and was having difficulty. I was configuring a crew long 2500 vs same 3500 SRW with 3. 73 autos on both. By doing the build my own option the same equiped 3500 SRW is $300 cheaper than the 2500. Makes we ask why go with a 2500? Just wanted to see the payload and tow differences.

Might I suggest you check out http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/index.html the site has tons of info for your Ram.

well really you only get a set of overload springs and a different gvwr sticker on the door..... but thats a big sticker considering that now a srw 3500 is 10100 gvwr (4x4 crew) and does in most states requires you to have a medical certificate with you and current. And i might add this is whether you have a cdl or not.

i just read your post again, are you sure it $300 less not $300 more??

you have to be careful that one package isnt adding something that is there already, was the case when i ordered my 03. for example the cab lights were add on to the 2500 but were standard on the 3500 but on the dodge site you could add them and it was on the total, but the dealer took it off. some prices were different then what the site had listed also.
