PCM Capacitor

[FL Cruiser]

96 4X4 auto. PCM has a bad capacitor that needs replacement. Anyone know the value of this capacitor?

I can't read the print on the capacitor and don't want to remove it and ruin the circuit board.

Can you just cut the leads and push it out of the metal holder? Glued in? Be careful not to loose track of the negative mark on the cap when taking it apart. I suggest renewing all the caps on the board if it's for sure bad as the other limited life caps are of the same age. With the burn marks on the circuit board I wonder if some of the traces burned out? Am I seeing water or something else on the ribbons top of the pic?

It does appear the traces are burnt. They still have continuity though. I don't feel comfortable performing surgery on the board. I piggybacked a capacitor onto the old one and externally mounted it. Computer seems to work fine now. No more limp mode and transmission shifts through all gears. If it fails again, I'll send it out to a professional.
