I've had it with my steering... thinking about the PCS box and a new Borgensen shaft. I tried tightening the box it didn't seem to do any thing. Didn't seem like the screw even moved. My question is: is there any one stop shopping for the new parts, and how much should I expect to pay for each of them? 02 QC/LB 4x4.

I just got a remanufactored box from www.powersteering.com for $225 plus a $100 core charge. It is a 3. 5 turn box. It made a world of difference over the stock box.

Feedback on the PSC chuck has been good.

I have a Borgeson shaft. If I had to do it again, I will take a hard look at Flaming River's shaft. I had the column end Borgeson u-joint loosen up at about 15,000 miles. I had to buy a new one. They rebuilt and returned the original one n/c though.

I'm very happy with the PCS box still have the factory shaft at 148k with the new box night and day diffrence... George

Before you install the steering box make sure it only will turn 3 turns stop to stop. Sounds like you have the 4&1/4 turn as many did. I paid $180 for mine at Power Steering Services in Springfield MO 417-864-6676 and they had a Borgeson shipped to me. My Ram wandered all over the road and now steers like a car. -- email address removed --
