Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) PDR boost bolt

I am getting ready to redo my boost gauge plumbing so I bought a PDR boost bolt. Just wondering, do I need to use pipe dope on the bolt threads? Thanks for any info.

i didnt but it might be a good idea, i run 29 psi with my ez, so i dont think there is a boost leak. but like i said i probly couldnt hurt.

I used a little RTV silicone on mine. I run about 38 psi and no leaks.

I also used a bit of pipe dope when I installed mine. No problems.

Thanks for the replys!!! I think I will put a dab of sealant on it just to be safe.
