DDIII Questions.

This cam is incredible  !!!!!

It feels like I put in bigger injectors.

I have virtually no lag.

I have increased boost when the truck is under minimal load. Before I had no boost under the same minimal load.

I have turned the Comp box off and before I had it set on level 2.

This is the best performance for the buck.

The power band is now idle to redline. Before I had to wait for the boost, not any more :) .

The truck is a whole new experience to drive, it feels lighter.

The acceleration is right now :D , no waiting.

As soon as I can I am going to dyno.

My EGTs are down about 100*.

Fuel mileage is going up and should get better when I get done playing :p .

This was a very interesting installation. The hardest part was waiting on Cummins to get me the tools.

All I can say is don't you wish you would've done it sooner:p

I've had mine in aprox 40,000 miles and has been one of the best things I have done. As I said before I would keep looking for the down side to putting/having this cam in. The only down side I can find is the install can be kinda involved:rolleyes: (but for the weak of heart or mechanicaly impaired a quick trip up north will cure that) Once installed I've loved it sinceOo. Quicker spool, lower EGT's, longer power band, quicker cool down, more useable power, more driver friendly, and still better milage 1-3 depending on placement of right foot:eek: Ok, Ok, I know I repeated alot of what DAWG-1 said but I must agree bang for the buck is there

Would this be something a stealer would pick up on relatively easy if it needed to be taken in for warranty? I would think that a reground CTD cam and injectors since they are internal engine components, it would be very difficult to void a warranty based on speculation.

Chipstien,

Installation takes 10 to 12 hrs.

J@NWC,

I wish I would have installed this cam when I bought my truck.

Sticks,

You are your own warranty station.

You can make the tools needed for the cam swapping job if they are to expensive, From wood dowel rods and Pvc pipe and other things found very common.

I rode in Sam's (DAWG1) truck this week...

He is not BSing!

This Cam rocks! His truck ran liked a raped ape before the PDR cam, and now..... :--) :--).

He will be doing my PDR cam hopefully soon. Oo. Oo. Can't wait to get that bad boy in.

Sam has done 95% of the bombs on my truck and does top notch, quality work at awesome prices! ;)

When only the best will do, check him out... . :D

Better fuel mileage??? I don't think my PDR cam helped my mileage. I get 12mpg around town and 15 on the highway. I think my cam and delivery valves are to blame.
