O. K. I finally got home to install my new turbo. The first thing that I did was to compare the size of the intake turbine with that of the H1C. Folk the diameter is over 1/4" larger, its way bigger than the one of the H1C. So I get my old one off, piece of cake because when I installed the 16cm hot end I anti siezed everything so it bascially fell off. I installed Piers turbo and it fits perfectly came with new gaskets and all that. Before I hook up the oil line I squirt some oil into the hole(just to be sure its lubed immediately). I find that when I drive my truck as I leave from a dead stop I apply a certain amount of pedal to get going. Well I applyed that same amount of pedal leaving the driveway and the duals rotated a half turn before the truck moved:D . Boost definately came on faster. The next thing that I noticed was the normal smoke the the POD's put out was significatly reduce as I accelerated. As I pull onto the highway and punch it, the truck feels strong. As it hits the defuel point and my EGT's are as high as they are going to go they hit 1050* down 100* from previously. Boost pressure ran about the same maybe gaining a pound or two. This is all done with stock pump nothing has been touched yet. I stress yet because obviously I NEED to turn the fuel up a tad! :D ;) :D
