PDR HX-40 back ordered

Has anyone gotten there hx-40 recently?Seems Piers is having trouble getting the wastegate actuators from Holset,there on back order. I'ts a shame I put this purchase of for months trying to decide which turbo and when I finally decide to spend more family funds for bombs they get back ordered,what luck,just one more reason I don't gamble. Goota love the turbo manufactuers, they decide when they will make an item and how many they will make. Don't like it? Your SOL, not like you can goto another company I had to wait a while on my Kwikspool B1 because of the wait for exhaust housings.

I"m not flogging piers I just had my hopes up and had swolled the cost and was anxious to put it on,you know after a while with your present bombs you all of a sudden have no POWER.

Of course, I sent him a reman I picked up for the "right" price and got a used exhaust housing...

Turbo's may be behind but it is worth the wait by all means, I waited for a prep'd big turbo vise buying one off the self and I'm dang glad I did. Gotta love the guys up North, there products and service is second to none.

Got mine from Piers yesterday. However it was only the compressor side since I still had my 16cm exhaust side.



Guess that doesn't help you much. Sorry

I believe the holdup is the dockworkers strike on the west coast... . Hopefully now that they are back to work the backlog will cease.

They are definitely on back order...



I just tried getting one about 10 minutes ago and Louise told me they are around 3 weeks out on Back Order.



But I have to say this... . If you want one of these turbos, DO NOT let this back order discourage you. Piers HX40 is an Awesome turbo and is well worth the wait...
