PE Box

Can anyone tell me what happens to the EGT's when a PE Box is installed on a stock truck with auto transmission? I've heard of some slippage in the transmission with just the box--is this true? Thanks

K&N filter. Towing a 13,000 lb,37foot 5er and a 6500 lb(empty) gooseneck horse trailer.

Jim, the power edge will torch your transmission on level three, period. Get the transmission upgraded before you even think PE. You could run the edge EZ ok stock. Egt's are directly related to right foot postition, and can get high especially with the smaller turbo exhuast housing on your truck. Call edge and talk to them, let them know what you have in mind and they will help you decide which of their boxes would be best for you and what is needed to run them safely.
