PE Comp Failing?

Recently I've had several episodes of "stumbles", limp mode, Code 1693, then everything clears and runs well. Narrowed it down to the 4 year old PE Comp. No codes or stumbles when Comp is off, but then the truck runs like a stock "01..... OK, but no real power. My question is; anyone have a Comp "repaired'' is this fixable or should I move on to a more modern system like SMARTY or what would you put on an '01?? Thanks for any input, Jim G

You are feeling the results of a bad pump wire tap.

Wish it were that easy... . I've never tapped the pump wire, waiting on auto transmission mods, so the Comp is just wired in and functioning like an Edge EZ. Should have mentioned that. Have checked cleaned, "greased" all connections.

I would start by trying it on another truck.
