I spent this weekend Bombing the Mule and... WOW!!! I put in a Nordskog 2 5/8" 100 psi boost, Nordskog 2 1/16 " 16 psi FP, 2 1/16" Autolite Phantom EGT. I also installed 4" ex turbo to Tail and a PE Comp. Along w/my goodies came a Gtech PRO power meter. . really neat toy.



My truck is a rocket now and I haven't installed my injectors or B1!!! I'm getting 24-26 psi w/thje comp off and 36-38 psi boost on 5x5. EGTs are not bad because every time they get over 1100* I'm getting out of the throttle, at over 100mph!



I'm hoping to get the injectors in next week and the B1 the week after. If 100hp did this much I can't wait to see what the next 150hp will be like. I already ordered the SBC in anticipation.

That sounds impressive! I have my Comp on order, should be arriving this week Oo. Oo. ... . Already have the 4" exhaust, and plans for clutch and injectors around tax return time:D :D . I see a B1 turbo in the future, but I'll have to grow my "skimming" fund for a few months :{ .

Good to see a similar truck getting similar mods, hope you don't mind if I bother you occasionally for info and updates.

p. s. are you NOT getting any clutch slip with the comp?

Joe, I couldn't get it to read over about 200-210 stock. . thats w/the comp turned off so I was getting a little more boost than stock(2-4psi). I ran a few times w/the comp on 5/5 and stock ex. and was seeing right around 300hp. After the ex I have seen 312, 320, and 400 ( the 400 I think was due to wind). Just from the feel of it I would guess that the 100 hp claim is not unreasonable at all.



The real difference is the throttle response. You have to watch it or you end up running 3500 rpm w/noticing it. Oo. Oo.



Running 1/5 the hp number don't change much and boost is never over 26 but there is decidedly less lag boos is coming in at 1500 or less where befor you never felt the surge before 17-1800. :cool:



I'mm still stoked. . the only bad part is I'm in CA and my truck is at the airport in OK. :(
 
Mark, I read your post about the Autolite Phantom EGT Guage and was wondering where you got it, and if there is a site where it can be seen.

Two days? Just hook it up and leave that pump wire off till the 2 days. It takes about 5 minutes. Why not? Then in 2 days, do the pump wire, and that SBC!:D :cool:

I confirmed the readings of the Gtech on the Dyno. Stock I ran 212hp (gtech read 210) and PEC on 5/5 296 (gtech said 300). I had some higher readings but with wind its hard to tell. Its very possible that I made the 310 due to better air flow around the intercooler. On the dyno there's not much air moving.



The injectors pushed me up to 377/891 and the B1 took me to 4XX/1XXX. I'll know for sure in April.

Don't worry, the ETC clutch is a little better than the ETH. Just don't stomp shift. My ETH held on until the B1. At over 400hp it didn't have a chance. :D :D :p



This thing is just AMAZING!!!!

Nice numbers, I was disappointed w/my numbers before the B1. I expected better than the 377. The 891 ftlbs was awesome but I wanted better HP.



With the B1 I should be near 450hp over 1000ftlb.



I have a hard time checking W/the gtech. I get going too fast too fast... If you know what I mean.



The dyno day in april will be the true test.
 
I really like their gauges. Very reasonably priced and all of them are electronic. Call nordskog direct and ask for Patrick. . tell him Mark Kendrick sent you. It's just to let him know that me bugging him has been worth it. ;)



Nice guy, very knowledgable. Like I said before . . Don't get the 100 PSI boost. the gauge is great but the sender is not very good below 15psi.



They don't make the sender, they buy it. The gauge has memory and the ability to trigger at a certain boost level. very cool!!
