PE EZ vs. Diesel Dynamics True Torque Power Module

I have the PE EZ box and a freind of mine just purchased the

True Torque Power Module,a nd he says that this module has more fuel & timing built into it than does the EZ.



Is this true? They both look identical.

I recently asked the same thing about the PE comp and the DD UFM. When I asked PE, they said no difference. When I asked DD, they say most certainly difference. Users say that the DD product tends to produce less smoke. That would indicate that their fuel curve comes in a little later. Timing?

If I recall from my research on them the TTPM has 3 settings one of them being a timing only option and I think fuel at 10psi and 20psi. The ez also has 3 settings fuel at 3psi, 10psi and 20psi the ez does not have a timing only setting. So if you were going to be running larger injectors the TTPM may be the better option as far as smoke control by using only the timing setting.
