Diesel Additive Gelling?

How is the Dodgezilla turbo ?

Yes, I'd like to know what they did to solve the problems they were having!!!

My 4200 is still running strong... <pause to knock wood>... . I wonder if it could use a little preventive maintenance.

I sent Rip an e-mail asking him to post on this one as I would like to know what was done to them

I have an original one, not the upgraded one in my garage to install... so was wondering what I need to do to it to be ahead of the issues they had with them... [water inside the motor area I believe, could be wrong on this though].

LOL - they also seem to make the owner of the truck want bigger injectors... I like this side-effect. :-laf

When Gary speaks, I listen. Yep PE is up & running again. The 1st pump I ever purchased from them I installed on my truck. It was mid to late '02. It's still on there & hasn't missed a beat. PE DID experience some failures & from what I can tell stood behind them 100%. They've made changes along the way improving what I felt & still feel is an excellent product. What did they change ? They improved the case seal to keep moisture out. They do NOT consider them waterproof however. They've changed tolerances on the impeller vanes to cylinder walls, & changed the end play spec of the impeller also. They've substantially improved the "cartridge" is my understanding. Do I know what I'm talking about in this regards ? Nope... ... . but they DO... ..... :)

The database hasn't been updating me about additional comments on this thread and here you guys are ripping me up, and I don't even know about it.

Yes, that's it. Much bigger injectors will solve any problem!!!

MTE: If you use the "Quick Reply" feature... you will not be updated with new additions to the thread.

The "Quick Reply" doesn't use your default settings... . so no SQL entries are filed that reflect your settings... and you don't get anything new showing up in your "User Control Panel".....

It's a neat feature, but it didn't take the workflow of the average end user into consideration.

More importantly - I would like to see an extended 'timeout' feature turned on. That way if I keep IE open to the TDR page and minimized... I can check for updates throughout the day instead of logging in and losing all the updates...

Stepping off soapbox/complaint riser... .

I see... I must have used the quick reply and it dropped me as subscribed to this thread. I'm a slow talker/typer anyway, don't really know what a 'quick reply' is.

Rip. . did you add sillycone to yours when you installed or a shield to ward off the water ??

I know you live in a somewhat wet area LOL and would be a good test for water endurance...

reason I ask is I'll see a ton more issue when I move up Cd'A area soon. . so want to do everything I can to make this unit last. . maybe I'd better call and see if they will exchange it before I ruin it LOL

OH and thanks for the reply

Wheaties, if your "cartridge" is older than 10/03 there are updates available from PE, but they want you to send it in.

Gary, I didn't do didley, just bolted it in. Depending on your manufacture date you may want an "update' before you install it... .

I'm not planning to touch mine till I need to... .
