"Peace" Protesters ... are these people for real!!!

Listening to some of the speaker and to some audio of the people in the crowd ... where the hell do these people come from??



The Washington protest was organized by some groups associated with the World Workers Party (or something like that) and other Socialist/Communist parties.



I always wonder how these people would make out living in lets say North Korea, Iran, Iraq, etc...



There was one lady I heard saying that N. Korea was the last bastion of the Proletariat and must be preserved at all cost.

I wonder how she would like to live there in the workers paradise.



Do these people actually believe what they say? Or do they just say this stuff because they hate the current administration?



If these nut cases represent the young generation ... we are definitely doomed. Our enemies just have to sit back and laugh as we slowly devour ourselves.

Again, there were NO members of the 9/11 highjackers from Iraq. You would have to be pretty gullible to think this about 9/11 or weapons of mass destruction. Afganastan/Taliban was about 9/11, this is just showing off. I don't see him moving troops into S. Korea where the real threat is. Can you say Chicken?



I have seen some of the protesters and some are kooks, just like some of the people on the other side. Only they are much scarier! Look at Dalton.

So do we wait for Iraq to launch an attack before we act? Should we be reactive to Saddam? He has made his intentions towards the US clear since the late 80's. the more time we give these countries, the stronger they get. These countries may not be developing there own nuclear weapons, but they don't have to. The former USSR has already done it, and there are still many weapons in remote locations that are just waiting for the highest bidder.



This has much to do with 9-11. What difference does it make which terrorist organization lead the attack. Just like drug dealers. do you wait for the new one to set up shop before taking him down, or do you try to eliminate as many as possible in one sweep?



Bush may not be that eloquent of a speaker, but he gets the point across clearly. He's not backing down because of negative opinion.

In WWII, the US waited things out with the Japanese until we were attacked at Pearl Harbor. This cost thousands upon thousands of AMERICAN lives. My Dad was one of those! He didn't get killed during the war, but the 42 months in Japanese prison camps eventually killed him.



We can wait today. I would like nothing better to tell the rest of the world than to go kiss an Arab! We could then keep all of our money and resources to ourselves. We don't need the rest of the world as much as they need us.



As far as CF - he can say anything he wants. I would still like to see him get a good old azz kicking. I think he like so many others have gone through life without one!

Doesn't matter that they weren't from Iraq. Iraq has given safe haven to the terrorists, as well as substantial funding, over the years.

And again, you would have to be pretty niave to believe this country can sit back and hope this won't happen again. If we don't eradicate the cowards now it's only going to get worse as time goes by. That's Jumbo Jet Jr. He's not full grown yet.



He's the meanest, toughest thing you would ever meet and I think I can still take him. I guarantee you two bouncers and 4 other big old U of A boys at a Fayetteville night club remembers him quite well. I never in my life had to send 6 big boys a packing, but he sure did. Yea, he got a busted lip, but he walked away. Some of the other big old boys were carried away.



I hope we don't have to go to war either. This situation did not develop over night and will not go away over night. The US has made bad foreign policy decisions and it will always cost us. The ones that actually pay the price should never have to.



BTW - heck I'd just as soon shoot someone as have to fight them today.

The real terrorist funding is coming from one of our allies, Saudi. And some of the most radical clergy preaching hate toward the US and giving harbor are in Pakistan (another allie).



Iraq hasn't had the funds to do much in the way of anything since the gulf whooping it took. I am afraid that foreign policy has really taken a downturn with the present administration. There are some that make mistakes and some that make blunders.

I think you are a little confused there Champane Flight. Mexico is going to annex Texas . They (Mexicans ) are going to take Texas back and they not going to fire a shot doing it . Just think all of those people who died at the Alamo died for nothing . Just think what would of happen to the State if Tony Sanchez had become Governor . It was just on the TV news and the news paper Sunday that Mexicans are the fastest growing Minority group of people in the state . Why you might ask , because there are more them migrating here than any other group of people and they are having more children than any other group . If you don't believe that then move to Houston or any other big city in Texas . I don't think Texas is going to annex Mexico any time soon ~~~~ Well maybe , if all the Mexicans that live here want to .
