Hey everyone. I have been searching the forums for some help in getting DC to fix the peeling paint problem on my 98 two toner. I came up with this link http://peelingpaint.homestead.com/ but unfortunately it is now dead. Did anyone happen to cut and paste this information? If so, I could sure use some help. I know this can be settled easily with a small claims procedure from what I have read, but I have no idea where to get started. It is ashame, I love the truck but I am growing frustrated with this paint thing. Thanks in advance for all of y'all's help.

I'm guessing you have silver somewhere on your truck thats peeling right?

Silver paint never was very good at sticking to the surface it was painted on. The ingredients in silver paint don't bond very well. Just look at Ford and Chevy also. There silver paint flakes off also. Blue paints can flake off too since there is some silver ingredients in blue to make it stand out more. One reason why I won't get a blue or silver truck. Though I really like silver.
