Pennzoil now offers a new transmission oil they call "MULTI-VEHICLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID". The guy at the local NAPA store says it replaces "all" automatic transmission fluids except type "F", and he is selling it as a "one size fits all" fluid (including ATF+3). The Pennzoil website says it replaces, Dexron thru Dexron III and Mercon or Mercon V fluids but makes no claim to replacing ATF+3 although they say it is usable in many Chrysler transmissions... Having read where some folks are using a variety of fluids in the 47RH and 47 RE transmissions caused me to wonder whether the Pennzoil stuff has any sort of track record that anyone out there might want to share with me...
