What is the best brand to use? I am undecided between the TST & the EDGE.

I like the extra features of the TST PowerMax CR with R49 but the EDGE JUICE with ATTITUDE is about $300. 00 less money & it seems to be more popular. What do you think?

imho the tst is well worth the extra money with the turbo timer and 9 levels. . i have had tst powermax r49 on my truck since it had 1800 miles on it and it is the best money i have spent so far... thanks again lloyd for suggesting the tst Oo.

Nothing beats the adjustability of the TST. The Juice is a very nice setup, but ranks second place on my list.

TST is the only one with honkin' capability without using added pressure. Increasing pressure is becoming more and more of an issue on these HPCR trucks. I think for that reason alone, TST is the better choice. That is not to say Edge does not have a nice product... I had them on previous trucks and they worked well, just don't want any high pressure on my 3rd Gen.

What year is your truck? The TST is timing and duration only for all model years, the juice does all three for the '03-4's and timing + duration for the '04. 5's and up. The standard edition of the TST gives you 180+ HP, you have to get the Hot version of the Juice to get the same power. Have they even released the hot version for the '03-4's? but like the others said the TST is more adjustable. I have the standard single turbo program TST and I still have room to grow before I can use its full potential.

You can't beat a TST, unless you're into bells and whistles.

The TST is horsepower king, especially when stacked with downloaders and/or pressure boxes (assuming you have the supporting mods). By itself it is a great box and does not use any fuel pressure increases. I also feel that the build quality of the box and wiring harness is close to if not the same as OEM. It should last as long as your truck.

If your truck is a 2003-2004 with the SO or HO motor, the Juice module adds fuel pressure. Many on this forum like to stay away from pressure. It can damage the rail relief valve and ultimately your injectors over time.

On edit:

The Hot Juice for the '03-'04 trucks only makes 150hp.

I have run the Edge EZ since my truck was fairly new. Don't know if the EZ had anything to do with it, but I have replaced the relief valve three times, I'm on my forth. I replaced all six injectors last week. Like I said, I don't know if the Edge had anything to do with it, I ran it on level 2 since I tow all the time, but it is off my truck and if anybody wants one, it's for sale.

Of course, my truck rolled over 300,000 miles today, maybe it was just time for the injectors.
