I did back to back runs with my G-tech today with and without my EZ. With it ran 0-60 9. 3 Quarter mile 17. 3 79. 2 mph

Without it ran 0-60 10-2 quarter mile 17. 8.

Is this about what I should expect from an EZ. I have done nothing to the wastegate yet. Thanks very any opinions.

LJolley... My EZ knocked almost a second off 0 to 60. The boost elbow almost another second. The BHAF another second.

Both of those times are pretty remarkable to me. My truck as set forth below does 0-60 in 15. 12! Tested a friends truck nearly identical to mine except the 6 speed (pre HO though). His 0-60 time was 18. 18. He added a raptor box and his 0-60 time with the Raptor was 15. 30.

Your 0-60 times without the EZ seem way out of line to me. There is a low power TSB for your truck (and mine) that shows the avg speeds to test for low power using a 0-60 test. According to the TSB the avg speed for your truck (2001. 5, auto, QC, 4x4) is 14. 5 seconds. I find it extremely difficult that your pre EZ time for a 0-60 is 10. 2 seconds. If your 10. 2 time is correct you may have the worlds quickest non BOMBed Dodge!

KMeek... . My times are with a stop watch and are closer to yours. Low 13's stock to just over 10 seconds now. A G-tech would be more accurate by starting itself when the truck moves.

I can get under 10 seconds by torquing up my Automatic a little.

In '98 the TSB said 0 to 60 for the Auto and 40 to 60 for the 5 speed, I think, but I am not sure. I do think in comparable trucks the auto would be quicker.

Should I expect the truck to be quicker if I disable the wastegate, from what Ive read in here thats done mainly to control EGTS?

As for my performance, I actually got the 0-60 time under 10 seconds last fall when it was stock. Ive seen Dodges data on what the 0-60 times should be and believe me I was amazed.

I even questioned the G-tech however I tried it on a my Trans Am and it was within a 10th of a second of what the car ran at the strip. I ran the truck compared to my buddies 98 vortech 350 chevy and needless to say he was faster but only by about three truck lengths to 60 so I think my truck is fairly quick for a stocker.

Thanks for all your replies.

My truck, stock, averaged around 16 sec; 0-60. After installing my 'EZ' =13sec 0-60. Now, with DDII's + a DTT Valvebody, and my 'EZ' on setting 2, I'm averaging [with my bed loaded with a ladder-rack, ladder + misc roofing stuff] between 8. 30 secs and 9. 30secs 0-60 mph. I'm also very pleased because my fuel milage also went the opposite:from avg 13 mpgs city/hwy, to 18mpgs city/hwy. (at the pump)

Bob :)
