I've done a bunch of searches on pyro install for my EGT gauge and can't seem to get an answer to this question.
I see a lot of guys are using an anti-seize when installing the probe into the manifold. I don't have the tube with me, can I use Permatex #2 for this application? I don't know if it is rated for the kind of heat that it will see in this location and I need to know if I should run over to NAPA before heading home for install.
Can I use the Permatex #2 for the probe install or should I get an anti-seize for this? TIA.
