What a bunch of Jeep/ Chevy punks. Mag is focused at 16 year olds.

May issue.

On the cover, "BOMBPROOF SIXSPEED" Chevy BOMBs they must be talking about, cause we can tear anything up we want to.

Where did they get "BOMB" from, I wonder... ... ?

The main reason though is about the Tonka truck, page20.

"FORD FACT"

"Henry Ford, we're certain, would agree that the foundation of Ford Motor company began with similar values,: DURABILITY, INGENUITY, and QUALITY. "

Well, that is wrong.

"QUALITY:

Henry tried to pioneer the concept of we give you the car, but the parts are sold through us exclusive.

DURABILITY:

He also insisted his engineers build engines with NO pumps of any sort. When they snuck an oil pump and a water pump in, they almost all got fired.

INGENUITY:

He pioneered we build cheap crap for the masses, they won't care if it is junk, as long as it is cheaper than car b or c.

I never bought into Henry Fords legend.

He may be the man responsible for the down fall of quality, in my book.

Hmm, apparently you read the mag cover to cover. Does that mean you're a 16 YO Chevy punk? Would explain a lot of things... ... ... :D

Its bomb-proof to them because they'll put it in a bronco with a 302. The worst magazine out there is Off-Road. I quit buying it because every issue has two or three major screwed up ideas or facts.

I don't know why Herry Ford is known for the assemly line. Studebakers started in the 1880's an assemly line and building parts that would fit more than one wagon. Before then if you needed a wagon wheel, you have to make one to fit your wagon. Studebaker was the first to come up with the ideal of making parts that would fit many instead of just one.

Herry Ford of modern day is Al Gore. He invented the internet you know.

Hey hey heeeeey Enough with Ford ... ... They Circle their own mistakes on the fron grille

I dunno where I got that one but Ive been dyin' to use it!

Here is a good one. Truckin and Offroad are sister mags (note I didnt say brother :p ). In the jan 02 issue of truckin they had nascar driver's truck. greg biffle had a 7. 5 powerstroke and acoring to the pic, the gauges are on the passanger side. And he had 38. 5" swampers on 6" of lift. I got a friend with a 2k PSD on 38. 5" swampers with 8" of supension, and another 3" of body to keep the tires from rubbing. It must be a trick to get them on with only 6".

They re-ran the story in offroad with the same mistakes.
