Does anyone on here have some pics of some Phantom gauges installed on their truck. Specifically on the A-Pillar? I was going to get the Isp's that "match" the factory ones but Ive seen the lighting on these and they leave alot to be diesired. (I dont like that some light up more than others... ) If you dont have Phantoms, even some pics of a white face or silver faced gauge set up would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I assume you are talking about the Autometer Phantom series guages. I have 4 of them, the lighting is pretty consistant with them they look perfect during the day the way they are back lit they do not match as well at night. EGT in a SRT-10 pillar mount, trans temp, boost and oil temp in the cubby in a Quadzilla mount, they Autometer cubby mount was not available when I installed the gauges.

I also have the Phantom EGT in a SRT10 A-pillar. It puts the most inportant information "in your face" and makes it hard to ignore - a plus in my thinking.

A lot of people go for looks alone. I recommend you read the TDR magazine article on gauges, especially the part about the response speed of various EGT gauges. Some are pitifully slow and inaccurate. I chose the Phantom EGT for the looks, true, but most importantly for the speed and accuracy of measurement.

If looks are the only criteria, just buy what looks good to you and don't bother to even wire them up.
