my experience is HTT opens their gates too early. easily overcome w/ some adjustment. no major difference, whatever you can get a good deal on. paying the same money, I'll pick II every time
 
What kind of boost are they opening at because I wouldn't want a lot of boost anyway. I heard if you go over 40 lbs you have to have studs and I would rather not get into that(limited funds,ya know).
 
Well you can go a little higher than that... 55 psi is the limit from what I was told. Drive pressure is a key factor... . i'm sure the turbo gurus will chime in. I consistently run around 45 psi and have bounced around 50 now and then... . FWIW
 
on a 12v, 40psi is kinda the magic number... safe to say you won't have a problem there...



I ran 42psi out of an HX40 on my 97 12v for a long time.



45psi is kinda pushing it... 55 is beyond the limit IMO. for a 3rd gen, 55 may be alright, but for a 12v, I wouldn't do it!

I have a 2nd gen 24v HO if that makes a difference... :confused: I didnt see that his ride was a 12v...
