Photo Voting?

Could someone take a moment to tell me what the photo voting is for? I'm referrring to the pics in the readers rig section where you can vote 1-10 on a pic. What are we voting on? Photo quality, photo content, or what? And for that matter... why? Heck... I'm just happy when my pics upload.

Partly what you listed, but also whether you like the vehicle you are looking at. Looks great all the way to a POS. Smoke shows always get a 10 in my book.
