Photos In Threads ?

Can we post photos in threads like we used to, or has this been changed? It looks like you no longer have the option.

You should be able to do so. Just above the "Submit Reply" button there is a section that says "Attach file:" - it does have to be under 32,000 bytes to be able to post it though. Let me know if you don't see this.

Had a funny pic to post and I couldn't find it earlier today. I was going to ask the same question but DRR-24v beat me to it.

Use the img tags. For info on that click the "vB Code help" link on the posting form. You can upload your images to your Reader's Rigs album(s) and link to them. The Reader's Rigs codes is less database intensive than the bulletin board's image storage because I wrote image pre-processing cache code in it. The image file usage used by the boards was getting HUGE and the boards provided no admin functions for it, whereas you have full control with the Reader's Rigs...



Yes, it creates an extra step when posting images but it will help keep the boards friendlier and faster for everyone.
