PIAA Extreme white headlights

First I am new to the site. I am a reformed Powerstroke owner and I am very pleased with my 10 day old 3500 CTD.



I have seen the posts about less than satisfactory headlight performence and the effectiveness of Sylvania Silverstars seems to be a topic of debate. I am wondering about the PIAA xtreme white bulbs. They look good but are there problems like running hot and doing damage to housings etc.

I have been using those bulbs for a few months now. No problems with them at all.

I have used PIAA extreme white for over a year now. They are $$$ but are probably the best replacement bulb I know of. The doy not run hotter as they do not consume any more power than the stock bulbs, just a better quality bulb that produces a whiter light.
