pic ,file size to big ,,why????????????

i try to place pics in my profile but all my pic files are all over 122,800 . . ? will be very thankful for some kind of help,,its been 3 days and i cant fig out.



and one other thing. how do i put a pic when i post a new topic or a reply... ... ... ... plz help

You will have to use some sort of image editing software that will reduce the resolution of the images. I use PhotoShop LE, but others will work as well.



To insert a pic in a post just click on the IMG button (in the frame just above where you are typing your message) and it will prompt you for the location of your image file.

I guess Ill need to also try that. Mine are as small as I can make them with the camera but they are still too big for posting here. I want to show off my new 04 HO!

Save them as .jpg files and with a quality setting of 5. The quality setting will make the biggest difference in file size. A setting of 5 will make almost no difference in the quality of the seen image. If you don't have any photo editing software to do it with you can use http://www.irfanview.com . The reader's rigs gallery will allow you to post a much larger picture that posting directly to the forums. Once you have an image in the readers rigs gallery there is a link below the pic that says "Forum Codes" if you click on that it will give you the exact codes that you can copy and past into a message to show a pic.
