Not sure about the BMW tech, but I know the platform is the last gen Benz "ML" SUV, and sure looks it from underneath.
As far as resale, I had looked at '13's as a possibility, and they were high enough to not warrant it.
My neighbor who is NOT a car person asked what kind of vehicle it was. When I told her she looked perplexed. Then I pointed to the '98 and said that it's the progression from that vehicle. She couldn't believe it. They really are such different vehicles. I can't call the '14 a truck. The '98 definitely is a truck. Public opinion of these seem to be quite high.

Took the wifey to the local dealership, but they didnt have exactly what we were looking for. Wanting a Citadel with Hemi... they only had R/T with Hemi and Citadel with v6.. go figure. We test drove the R/T seemed nice.

Test drive the V6 they have some Pep to them they get up n scoot pretty good .
