Haven't done it but my '93 service manual says no engine pull needed. When trans is out should be plenty of room. It says to remove old seal by drilling small hles in the metal outer ring then screw sheet metal screws in the holes and yank. The crank and new seal should be absolutely clean-no oil, grease assy lube-nothing. The new seal will come with an installer and pilot.

Would love to give you a hand. Coming down in March if you could wait... LOL. Let us know if you have any problems and how easy it is incase others need to pull transmission out someday. (I hope I don't need to but you never know).

Planning on starting next week, but you never know. If the job is still hanging around in March, I'll surely welcome the help!
