Hey Folks!
As many of you know, the Ontario Chapter of the TDR held a tour of MBRP performance exhaust last week. For those that made the trip, it was beyond amazing!
Anyone who was there will tell you, it was an amazing day and we were treated like royalty while there.
For those who didn’t have the ability to make the trip, thought I would share some photos for you.
The group left in convoy from just north of Toronto and would maintain convoy status for the 2 hour trip.

After the fun convoy and yapping on the CBs giving everyone a hard time about something, we arrived at the holy ground of diesel exhaust: MBRP.

The first thing was to get parked and then the tours would start!

After we parked, we the group was split up into two groups: One would start at The Garage and the other started with the manufacturing facility.
The manufacturing facility is world class and second to none. MBRP covers multiple buildings and raw material ships in one end and out the other as complete exhaust!

See your future exhaust system in one of those cages?

One the systems have been fabricated, welded, clean, inspected, and packed; they end up here in the stock room. This room is a truck guys dream. It has systems for every model and every year of truck! I am sure they were happy to see us all leave as there were puddles of drool on the floor when we left.

Here we got a education on how the custom pick and ship works:

After the manufacturing facility, we were off to The Garage. The Garage (http://the-garage.net) is MBRP’s other half and is basically an aftermarket parts store. Picture Summit Racing on a smaller scale. This facility was dangerous for those who attended. They stock wheels, tires, gauges, tuners, step bars, running boards, lift kits, lights, truck toys, and logically, their own exhaust. But what makes this facility even better is, they will install it for you! Yes, for those of you who are not handy with doing your own work, the very people who manufacture the exhaust will actually install it into your truck for you (as well as any other thing you buy). A REALLY cool place and several of the people who went on the tour have already made plans to return to The Garage.

After the tours, MBRP hosted a lunch BBQ for the group. We were also lucky enough to have an opportunity to speak with the owners of MBRP and get to hear some of the stories of their early years.

After a fantastic lunch, door prizes and awards were given out. Here, some of the MBRP managers and owners strike a pose with the goody table.

One of the other cool things we got to see while at MBRP was some of their SEMA show vehicles, future show vehicles in the making, and some past vehicles like this cool compound turbo 12V Jeep known as Rattle Trap.

All said and done it was beyond amazing to see how this all works! My thanks again to the crew of MBRP for hosting the group for the day and showing us your facilities! Was amazing to see how one of the leaders of performance exhaust “do their thing”.
