Just got them on my buddy's truck last night. His adapters finally came in. Everything went pretty smoothly on mounting. He has a 2" leveling kit up front. Tires are 255/70R/22. 5 16ply lug tires rated 5600# a piece. About 24-25/32nds of tread which I like. Steel wheels on the inside rear. He has G56 in it so the 36 1/2" tires gear it out just right to me. He will be coming back by shortly and I will get some better pictures.

Just thought I would share this with you guys.

Later,

Looks great, how much does each tire and wheel weigh? I would think between the larger diameter and higher wieght you would really notice a decrease in acceleration and increase in braking distance. I noticed it when I had 35" tires on my truck for a little while.

How does it drive and ride with them? They look great but I was just wondering if it made the ride harsh or how they balanced up with the adapters.

Interesting. I thought it looked good at first, but the longer I look I think they're just too big. It kinda reminds me of Hummer H2s. It goes from looking great to overkill. I like the big wheel conversions, but this looks to be a little too much for me... But hey, it's his truck!! To each his own!! Glad he likes it!! :D

Wife and I both looked at it several times. TOO BIG. Looks like a Honda or what not with those too big tires and wheels. Any hydralics to make it bounce or go up and down?

Looks kind of silly with the little box & fenders, but if it had a true 8' box I think it would look great. Also would the factory hubcaps fit over that rear hub? looks like an old truck with the rusty hub and rusty tailpipe showing. Otherwise good looking.

Just thought of a Idea. If a guy liked the wide tire stance those rear flares would give some great coverage.

About the pic's, Bed looks too short and looks like you will need some more coverage on those rear tires, they are hanging past your flares just a bit.

I read the thread title and my first thought was "I bet the truck resides in texas". I was right.

I lived in texas for two years and I have never seen more trucks with big steel bumpers, big tires, big wheels, big blah blah blah, etc... I don't understand it.

To each his own though.....

I think it looks killer, wheels are nice and shiny (I'm sure you'll have center caps soon), tires are nice and low profile. My questions is: why did this dude buy the wheels... . does he acutally tow some kinda heavy thing? If so, then great, he has the tire/wheel capacity. If not, WHAT A WASTE.

What did it cost for the set up (If I may be so bold)? I'm sure anybody can go find out what they cost, just wondering. I just bought a set of 19. 5 wheels and tires to haul my 4K lb. camper more safely. I truly needed the safety factor. Either way, I think they look pretty sweet. THANKS FOR POSTING!

Not really a waste if that's what the guy likes... I think it looks pretty good myself. Not to mention a quarter million miles out of a set of tires! :)
